I am Ms. Hamilton, and I am one of your 4th grade teachers! I am 35 yrs old, 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 White, and this is my 14th yr of teaching (9 of them at Townley). I am a very proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin; with a Bachelors in Education, minor in Special Ed, and ESL certification. I also have a Masters degree in Health Promotion from the University of North Texas in Denton. I have 3 adorable nephews; ages 4, 6, and 12.
When I am not teaching, I love watching college sports (especially my Texas Longhorns), playing sports, exercising, reading good books, watching "Biggest Loser", "Dancing with the Stars", and "Minute to Win It". A few of favorites are Dr. Pepper, Tim McGraw, chips/homemade salsa, and spicy Chinese or Mexican food.
Although I've been teaching Math and Science for the last 4 yrs, I love to read! My favorite children's authors are Beverly Cleary and Judy Blume. I also loved the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries.
